Aura didn't make any signs of appreciation or any signs at all to that comment. When Sven grabbed her arm, Aura had the urge to pull it away from him but he held it tight as he studied her bruises and sores. She winced slightly as he probed them but gratefully he stopped after a few seconds. Sven took her to another room with a bed. "Come on... Lets get those wounds healed.."He said. So you dont have to go soft on me? Aura thought bitterly again. He applied medicine to her limbs and back--she felt a little hot when he did her back. To her surprise, he felt a little uncomfortable when doing her back and when he talked about her front. Maybe he is nice... Maybe he really is trying to help me, but its hard to say..."I know you're still terrified by that experience and you probably dont trust me but please don't leave... Not until you recover from your wounds--the treatable and un-treatable ones. So please don't try run and escape... Its safer here," Sven pleaded with her. Aura blinked in surprise, it was like he was begging for her not to commit suicide. Whats up with him? Does he like me? Do I like him? Wait, no! Why am I evening thinking about that? It's nothing he just wants me to stay so he can sleep with me... But even with those thought, Aura couldn't stop wonder why she felt so unsure as she fell asleep.
Aura was back at that dark, empty place.Its just a dream, nothing here can hurt me. And as is she had said a spell, there were ghouls appearing, coming closer to her. They had a expressionless face. Their body were horrible disfigure but they all had sharp, long finger nails and they were advancing towards her pretty fast.
Aura ran but only found herself being trapped by more ghouls. She did a 360 turn and saw that the ghouls were surrounding her. Now, slowly the ghouls wrapped around her, scratching her and eating away her skin. It's just a nightmare, its just a nightmare... But why does it hurt so much?! "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Aura screamed as she jolted upright then wrapped herself into a ball, hugging herself and sobbing. |

Sven jumped from his makeshift bed and quickly scanned the room. There, curled up in his bed was Aura, sobbing uncontrollably. He quickly came to her aid and wrapped his arms around her. "Hey, hey..." He spoke softly as he comforted her. "It was just a nightmare... Nothing will hurt you here... Now stop crying... I don't want to see you in this horrible shape..." He said but it didn't seem to have any affect on her.
Sven continued to comfort her until she stopped crying. Sunlight spilled into the room, shining in front of them. "Stay here... I'm going to make some food, I'll be right back, I promise." Sven unwrapped his arms, stoop up, and walked to the door. She's pretty shaken up... I hope she's all right...

Aura felt Sven come in contact with her and wrap his arms around her. She didn't try escape it, instead she embraced it and leaned closer to him, letting his warmth comfort her. For the first time, in a long, long time, she felt safe, loved, and she felt hot tears that continued to stream down her face. Why am I crying? I'm not suppose to cry... I've faced more devastating things than this and lasted through it without shedding a single tear...WHY AM I CRYING NOW!? Aura thought.
"Stay here... I'm going to make some food, I'll be right back, I promise." Sven had said before unwrapping his arms and standing up. Aura felt all that warmth leave her as he left. Suddenly, before she even knew it, her hand shot up and grabbed Sven's wrist. "Please... Please don't leave... Stay... Stay here..." Aura choked.She, shakily, stood up and clung herself to Sven's body.

Sven stopped in his tracks as he felt Aura clung herself to him. What is she doing? What is she doing? What is she doing? What am i feeling right now? Why do i feel like this? Why do i feel a little faint, a little relived, a little hot, a little of everything? What do I do now? What do I want to do now? He turned around wrapped his arms around Aura again. He pulled Aura closer to him and let his head rest on hers. "I won't leave... Nor will I stay... Aura..." Sven started to say. He met face-to-face with Aura before tilting his head and meeting his lips with hers.
Finally, after eternity, Sven pulled away and rested his head on Aura's shoulder. "Aura, I won't leave you, but I won't stay here," he whispered into her ear. Before she could say a word, he scooped her up in his arms and took her to the kitchen.
Sven pulled out a chair for aura to sit on. Then he went to the fridge and pulled out a couple of eggs, bacon, and milk. "Scramble or sunny-side-up? How much sugar and milk for your coffee?" He asked.

What is he doing!? Wait what am I doing and feeling?! Aura felt that familiar warmth when Sven pulled her in, the same as when he had comforted her. Frozen in shock, disbelief Aura watched him make a move on her. She waited as he came closer, she savored the feeling that went through her as they kissed. Suddenly her arms had a mind of their own; they traveled from her sides to Sven's back, pressing him closer to her.
Finally Sven made another move and pulled away. Aura had mixed, indescribable feelings as he whispered into her ears. "Aura, I won't leave you, but I won't stay here." She opened her mouth to reply but before any words could come out of it, Sven carried her to the kitchen.
"Scramble or sunny-side-up? How much sugar and milk for your coffee?" Sven said from the stove. "Scrambled and i'll do the coffee myself..." Aura spoke. She watched as Sven got to work and was impressed by his skills, but something was bugging her. What is this feeling I have towards him?! Anger? Embarrassment? Happiness? What is it? What made me kiss him...?

Sven shrugged as he placed the milk, sugar, cup, and pured the coffee in front of Aura. Going back to the stove, he oiled a pan, lighted the fire, and placed the pan above the fire. He pulled out a knife and two sausages and began to cut the sausages into perfect 8th's. Carefully, Sven placed them on the pan, avoiding the the hot, burning oil and began to saute them until they were darker and lightly burnt.
Soon Sven moved on to the eggs. He cracked two eggs into a bowl and whisked them together, slightly. Then he poured the eggs into the pan and moved it to the side. Two more eggs were cracked into the pan but they weren't whisked together. He sprinkle some salt and some pepper onto all the eggs before placing it on 2 pans with the sausage ready to go.
"And here we are!" Sven said delightfully as he placed the scramble eggs in front of Aura. He waited till she tried some of each, "So how is it?"

The aroma and sound of sizzling sausages made Aura's stomach growl loudly. She tried to remember the last time she ate a home cooked meal; she never did. Then she tried to remember when she had eaten a meal, not snacks, never. The smell of eggs made her stomach twist in hunger, but before it could go insane Sven finally came with her plate.
"So how is it?" Sven said as she slipped a sausage into her mouth. It was so juicey, so tender, and so good! Before she could respond, she tried the scrambled eggs. They were just perfect, best egg she had ever ate. She had another mouthful before answering, "They are so good!" she said, louder than she intended.
In a matter of minutes, Aura's plate was wiped clean. She took it to the sink where she washed it and placed it on a rack to let it dry. Then she took Sven's finished plate and did the samething before sitting down in her seat.

As Aura took another bite of Sven's cooking he knew that it was delicious, even without her saying a word. "They are so good!" She exclaimed. He smiled at that compliment and began to eat his plate.
Oddly, everything seemed to quiet down. He and Aura didn't atempt to make a conversation with each other as they ate their food. The quietness was familiar to Sven as he usually at alone but it was strange to have someone with him and have the silence linger around. Gladly Aura broke the arkwardness by picking up both their plates. "Thanks Aura." Sven said in gratitude. "So are you feeling better now? Or are you still in shock?"

"So are you feeling better now? Or are you still in shock?" Sven said. Aura stayed quiet as she remembered the gruesome nightmare she had and the men from yesterday. Soon her body began to shake but she it wasn't her blood to admit how scared she was. "I'm fine..." she simply replied.
Aura stood up from her seat and walked to the couch and stared out the open window. Whats wrong with me? Damn it! I hate feeling this way! She laid down on the couch and started to think what went wrong her. Maybe its him... Her eyes directed to Sven. It can't be... He's just trying to help me...What about that kiss? A voice inside her. That was nothing, he was just trying to make me feel better... She rejected. Maybe... Maybe not...

Sven could see Aura shaking with fear however she tried to stay stronger. "I'm fine... She said after a while. "Oh..." was the only sound that came from Sven as she walked away. Stupid idiot! Why did you say that? You knew she wasn't ok but still you had to say it!Whats wrong with you? He scolded himself quietly.
After some thinking time, Sven stood from his chair and walked toward Aura, who was laying on the couch. He sat on the arm of the chair and looked at her. "Sorry... Me and my mouth are uncontrollable," He apologized. "So, do you want to go shopping right now?" He blurted out. "You, uhh... might need some clothes to wear, cause I don't think I have any clothes that fit you," he suggested as he looked at the over-sized shirt she was wearing. Why did i even buy that? Even that's too big for me!
